I'm a pretty random person, preferring spur of the moment ideas to making plans. I'm pretty eclectic in my tastes and like variety in my life. I wouldn't consider myself to be a dark person, but I love dark movies and music. I really enjoy photography, and have a flickr addiction too. Some of my favorite good times are sitting around with good friends, having drinks and just talking crap.
It sometimes seems as though I have multiple personalities. When people meet me, they usually get this impression that I'm this shy, calm, semi-conservative goodie-two shoes.....and I'm soooo not! I have tattoos and piercings, swear, drink (quite a bit sometimes), and I can totally talk people's heads off. I can go anywhere and have a good time, and I have all types of friends. I'll just as easily have fun at a goth club as a hip hop or trance club. My iPod has all types of music, and I listen to it all depending on my mood. I love going out and am rarely home. Well, I'm home more now that I live with my boyfriend. Although my mom still alternately refers to me as either a reincarnated hippe or gypsy. And, yeah, they apply.
I'm pagan, and continue to follow the path that is opening before me. Just like me, my path is very eclectic and all over the map.
I share my life with a wonderful boyfriend, an Amazon parrot, and a Yorkie. My boyfriend and I are pretty different, but we compliment each other nicely and we get along really well. He is wonderful to me, and is very supportive of all of my crazy endeavors (and he shares my love for traveling). We live with my rescued Amazon parrot (Aztec) and our Yorkie (Wickett...because he looks like an Ewok). It is never dull.
I usually find myself full of random thoughts or having pretty odd encounters. I figure if I don't write them down somewhere, I'll just forget and some things really are worth remembering!! I also like to write, so I'm glad I discovered the world of blogs. My opinions can be out there, but I like it that way. I do try to be diplomatic when dealing with people so I don't hurt their feelings, but my blog.....I can write what I want.
I love to travel, and I try to take as many vacations as possible. Especially little extended weekend getaways. I try to visit places that I've never been to, and am always looking for new ideas. I think this world map is very cool. Hopefully I'll have reason to update it soon. :) I need to get the hell out of Miami and see new places (but only temporarily, I couldn't live in a small town or anywhere cold).
